‘East Indians in Canada’ Part 8: April 28 polls are crucial for migrant communities

Each election is unique. The future of a community, a province, or a nation hinges on its global relations with other countries. When Canada holds its federal elections on April 28, a lot will be at stake, not only for Canadians in general but also for its various migrant communities.
 
Canada is known as a multicultural, multiethnic, and multilingual country. As part of the Commonwealth, it opted for a monarchy pattern of Democracy, where the British King is still the head of the State.
