Ambani pre-wedding bash concludes: Key highlights

Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani are set to tie the knot in July 2024.

The star-studded three-day pre-wedding festivities of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s younger son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant have come to an end. 

The celebration, which began on March 1 saw the attendance of prominent guests from around the world in Gujarat’s Jamnagar. Anant is set to tie the knot with Radhika, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, on July 12.

Elaborate arrangements were made for Bollywood and Hollywood celebrities, business tycoons, politicians, and cricketers as they attended the event to wish the couple. The guest list, which comprised 1,200 people, included pop singer Rihanna, Akon, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Ivanka Trump, among others.

B-Town celebrities such as Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan, among others, added to the star quality.
 

Ivanka Trump, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mahendra Singh Dhoni were among the few A-listers that attnded the event /

The first day of the event kicked off with the grand performance by Rihanna at the newly developed Jamnagar Township Temple complex. She performed some of her hits including ‘Rude Boy’, ‘Work’ and ‘Diamonds’, marking her first concert in eight years.

On the second day, a “Walk on Wildside” was organized for the guests to experience the newly established animal rescue center known as Vantara, a dream project of Anant Ambani. The guests who attended the event wore jungle-themed attire to celebrate his love and care for animals. 
 

The third day concluded with a “Hastakshar ceremony” which officially marked the union of Anant and Radhika to bring them closer ahead of their wedding in July. After the ceremony, an “Aarti” was performed. The dress code for the event was Indian attire and all celebrities donned themselves in traditional wear.
