Exclusive Interview: Tabla Maestro Zakir Hussain kicks off US tour
The renowned musician received three Grammys in February.

The renowned tabla maestro Zakir Hussain is kicking off his US tour March 15, performing with Sabir Khan on sarangi, and Debopriya Chatterjee on bansuri.
The concert, named Tisra, will be a nonstop performance for 90-100 minutes. “There will be no speaking, no talking, just playing the music and let the music speak for itself,” said Hussain, in a March 7 interview with New India Abroad.
