Indian American cardiologist highlights ways to tackle heart disease

Indian American cardiologist Dr. Bimal Chhajer recently delivered a talk on preventing and reversing heart disease in a non invasive manner by making diet and lifestyle changes.

The event held at the AsaMai Temple in Hicksville was organized by World Vegan Vision in collaboration with the Indian Association of Long Island (IALI) and Sattvic Group Co. Individuals from diverse backgrounds attended the event, a release stated.

Known for his noninvasive cardiac therapies, Chajjer shared his insights on the revolutionary approach of preventing and even reversing heart diseases through adopting a plant-based, heart-healthy diet and embracing a lifestyle that supports cardiovascular wellness.

His pioneering work has paved the way for a paradigm shift in how we approach heart health,” remarked Rakesh Bhargava, president of World Vegan Vision. “This event aligns with our mission to spread awareness about the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle and its positive impact on cardiovascular health.”

The World Vegan Vision is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing public awareness about the 3 main aspects of Veganism – health, animal rights and environmental conservation. The organization aims to organize activities to raise awareness about these issues.
