Deepti Ravula named Eisenhower fellow

Deepthi Ravula, CEO of WE Hub foundation, a startup incubator which is focused on empowering women entrepreneurs has been named as an Eisenhower fellow.
Ravula is the only representative from India among the 22 other leaders who have been selected for the 2024 global program.
According to an official release the fellows of the program will undertake six weeks of intensive travel across the United States to meet with experts in their respective fields.
The fellows will arrive in the US in April and return to their home countries on May 16 to apply what they have learned and to implement individualized, concrete projects they design to make a positive impact on their societies, the release stated.
Through her foundation Ravula has supported the growth of 3,200 female-led start-ups across Telangana State with mentoring, strategic planning, guidance on branding and marketing and capital infusions totalling $2 million since 2018.
As an Eisenhower fellow, she aspires to launch a one-stop shop for the variety of supporting services currently offered on an individual basis. Ravula plans to offer credential certifications for women entrepreneurs, financing to meet everyday funding needs and subsidized-rate access to legal, financial and marketing services.
Ravula served as the joint director for electronics (Business and Semiconductor) for the State of Telangana from 2016-18. Prior to joining the department of electronics, she worked in Nokia, San Diego designing audio acoustic circuits. She has done her engineering from Hyderabad and has attended graduate school at CSU, San Diego.
