NEWARK, California — At least a dozen perpetrators entered Bhindi’s Jewelers here on May.29 afternoon, and smashed up glass display cases to steal a substantial amount of jewelry before fleeing in getaway cars.
The store, located in San Francisco’s East Bay Area, remains closed after the robbery. A store manager, who asked not to be identified by name, told New India Abroad: “We will open and get back to business very soon. We need to assess the extent of the damage.”
