Exciting News for Tabla Enthusiasts in the Bay Area!
Pandit Aditya Kalyanpur, a disciple of the legendary Ustad Allah Rakha and Ustad Zakir Hussain, is bringing his New England School of Music (NESOM) to the Bay Area! A world-renowned Tabla virtuoso, Aditya was famously featured in the iconic Wah Taj tea commercial alongside his guru, Ustad Zakir Hussain. Now, Bay Area students will have the opportunity to learn from his lineage through Tabla classes led by Young Maestro Tushar Gupte.
Classes will be held in Sunnyvale/Santa Clara, Milpitas, and Foster City/San Mateo starting May 1, 2025. We are currently gathering an interest list, so don’t miss this chance to be part of a premier Indian classical music training experience!
