Filipino Americans make up the largest share of the Asian population in Elk Grove -- accounting for roughly 11% of the population. Join Elk Grove’s Diversity & Inclusion Commission in celebrating Filipino American History Month on Tuesday, October 22 at District56 for a special evening of storytelling and presentations from local leaders showcasing the immense contributions of the Filipino community to the region’s rich history. This is a free event open to all ages. Filipino refreshments will be available for purchase from Café Elk Grove. 6:30 p.m.
