Experience the joy of the tune becoming one with the verse, with a full ensemble of topflight co-artists - Pankaj Mishra (Sarangi), Flute Raman (Bansuri/Bamboo Flute), Kedar Naphade (Harmonium), Abhinav Sharma (Percussion) and A. Pavan (Tabla), bringing their creative energies to propel Pooja's soaring vocals. You will hear some of the subcontinent’s most iconic poets’ haunting verses, as “odes to the Beloved”, in all their myriad manifestations, from the devotional to the spiritual, the romantic to the erotic and the mystical to the philosophical. Among the poets featured will be Bulleh Shah, Baba Farid, Kabir, Meera, Ghalib, Mir Dard and a few others.
