Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), Maryland Chapter, is excited to present an enriching and engaging opportunity for our young Balas, Shishus and Kishores (ages 5-13) from March to June. We are thrilled to introduce the fun-filled contest, ‘Kaun Banega Ramayana Expert,’ where participants will dive into captivating topics and inspiring stories from the Ramayana. Get ready for an unforgettable learning experience!
Simply attend the weekly Balgokulam/Shakha sessions every Friday to learn the topics and actively participate in the engaging activities. The grand finale will feature a unique assessment format tailored to each age group. Stay tuned for more details as we approach the competition. In the meantime, here’s a sneak peek at the weekly topics that will form the basis of the contest, inspired by the new Balagokulam syllabus book:
1. Story of Rhishi Valmiki
2. Story of Shravan Bal
3. Story of Four brothers - Ram, Lakshman, Bharat, Shatrughna
4. Maa Seeta and Urmila
5. Story of Hanuman
Winners will be awarded exciting prizes along with certificates, and all participants will receive a certificate of participation to recognize their efforts and enthusiasm.

Final Competition date - June 8th, 2025
