Durga Pujo Bodhon is an integral part of the Durga Pujo, marking the official beginning. It is a time of deep devotion, as we prepare to honor the Goddess’s arrival and her victory over the demon Mahishasura, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil.
Durga Pujo brings communities together, reinforcing social solidarity and collective strength. This unity serves as a powerful stand against social evils and divisiveness.
This year, Dakshini will dedicate Bodhon to celebrate the power and strength of women thereby empowering us all to stand in solidarity with the RG Kar incident. Please refer to the flyer for event details.
