Dakshini cordially invites you and your family to celebrate Saraswati Pujo 2025 on Saturday, February 1st, from 11 AM to 9 PM. Join us for a vibrant day of cultural festivities featuring Pujo rituals, delicious food, lively adda, and soulful music. This year, the event is largely managed by Dakshini Milestone Kids, guided by our dedicated community members.
Event Highlights & Schedule
• Pujo with Anjali: 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Hathe Khori (Initiation Ceremony): 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
• Sit & Draw Competition: 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
• Lunch: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
(Khichuri, Labra, Beguni, Chutney, Payesh)
• Saraswati Bandana: 2:30 PM – 2:45 PM
• Tribute to Salil Chowdhury (Musical Celebration): 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM
• Dakshini General Body Meeting (GBM): 3:30 PM – 4:00 PM
• Ankur Dube Memorial Talent Show (Part 1): 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Snack Break: 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Filter Coffee & Samosa)
• Ankur Dube Memorial Talent Show (Part 2): 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Dinner: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
(Jeera/White Rice, Aloo Fulcopir Curry, Paneer Kofta, Fish Kalia, Chicken Tikka Masala for Kids, Pineapple Chutney, Gulab Jamun)
Dress Theme: Yellow and/or White
Sit & Draw Competition
Participants are encouraged to showcase their talent to the Dakshini community. Themes are as follows:
• Natural Disaster (Group 1: 3–6 years, Group 2: 7–12 years)
• Global Warming (Group 3: 13 years and above)
Please report to Dr. Bhaswati Moulik at Torino Plaza by 11:30 AM sharp to participate.
