Join us for an enlightening evening filled with spiritual wisdom as we gather for this event Awakening the Spirit. This will take place on Tuesday, Jan 30th, 2024 at 6:30 PM at the oldest apothecary on the West Coats, and spiritual gift/book shop Tenzing Momo at Pike Place Market at 93 Pike Place in Seattle, WA 98101.
Come meet our special, honored guest, the esteemed Swami Bhaktivedanta Vana Goswami Maharaja from West Bengal, India as he leads us in Maha Mantra chants and shares insights into the teachings of Krishna Consciousness and the path of Bhakti Yoga. This event promises to be a transformative experience, as darshan with a Sadhu is said to give deep and truly beneficial samskaras (Sanskrit for auspicious impressions on the soul). He will speak on the timeless sacred teachings of the Vedas that will give insight to your life's true purpose (dharma), eternal nature (siddha deha), and the reality of the material world that we currently live in, the eternal cycle of birth and death (samsara). He will speak about the soul, self realization, karma, reincarnation, our relationship to the Divine and others.
Join in the power of collective musical mantra meditation through Kirtan (also known as the music of yoga) led by Krishna Priya Dasi and friends. Engage with us in sublime mantra chants, singing the divine names of Krishna to enchanting melody and live percussion.
Then immerse yourself in the captivating presence of Swami Bhaktivedanta Vana Maharaja as he explains teachings from the ancient mystic scriptures of India like the Bhagavad Gita, Puranas and Upanishads. Calling all seekers, healers, intuitives, meditators, yogis and the curious to join in this once in a lifetime (and many lifetimes!) opportunity to meet a Swami like Srila Bhaktivedanta Vana Maharaja.
