Anand Vardhan Singh, founder-editor of The Public India, a Hindi YouTube news platform with 1.2 million subscribers, delivered a sharp assessment of India’s current political climate, criticizing symbolic responses like suspending the Indus Water Treaty to terror attacks and calling the present moment a “golden opportunity” to reclaim Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).

Referring to the Apr.22 terror attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, Anand said, “If after Pulwama, India could enter their home and strike, then today the entire public stands with them,” Anand said. “If Modi ji becomes even slightly pragmatic, Kashmir could be brought back.”
