Millennium Corporation is hiring a Configuration Manager to work 100% remote. The candidate must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered.
The Configuration Manager will:
- Contribute substantive content for maintaining and developing the CM environment for hardware and software product build, staging, testing, and integration.
- Contribute substantive content for software quality assurance process audits.
- Display an in-depth understanding of the concepts of defining hardware and software configuration processes and procedures.
- Define, document, and maintain the CCB, including roles and responsibilities of CCB members.
- Define hardware and software configuration processes and procedures, version control processes, policies, and procedures to ensure they are followed on hardware and software development projects.
- Utilize CM tools to store, track, and manage configuration items.
- Analyze changes of product design to determine the effect on the end product design and function and determines and prepares documentation necessary for change.
- Coordinate with customers and manufacturers to determine a process for change reporting.
- Review released engineering change data and change documenting activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience.
- Must possess an understanding and proficiency with version control, Configuration Manager Tools, and the Change Control Board (CCB) processes.
- Candidate must have an active Secret Clearance.
