HCLTech launches public service subsidiary in US

The subsidiary aims to drive AI-powered digital transformation for government agencies and educational organizations.

HCLTech, a leading Indian technology solutions company, has announced the launch of its U.S.-based subsidiary, HCLTech Public Sector Solutions (PSS).

Leveraging over 25 years of experience in the public sector, PSS aims to drive AI-driven digital transformation and enhance operational efficiencies for state and local governments, educational organizations (SLED), and federal agencies in the US.

The subsidiary will provide advanced technology solutions, including AI-powered citizen engagement platforms, cybersecurity, and digital engineering, helping agencies streamline services and improve public experiences.

"By combining our comprehensive AI suite, deep subject matter expertise, industry-leading talent and dedicated leadership, we are better positioned to partner with government agencies and enhance the experience for the constituents they serve,” said C Vijayakumar, CEO and managing director of HCLTech.

Arjun Sethi, HCLTech’s chief growth officer for strategic segments, emphasized the increasing demand for AI-driven public sector solutions. “Our specialized solutions are designed to translate data into insights, drive IT efficiencies, and maximize impact, all while helping government agencies navigate current and future technology transformation with confidence,” he said. 

The PSS board includes Arjun Sethi as president, Raghu Raman Lakshmanan as treasurer and secretary, and Jill Kouri as a board member.
