Indian American leaders share Eid-ul-Fitr wishes

Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan, is one of the most significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar.

Prominent Indian American leaders extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslim communities across the United States and worldwide, emphasizing messages of peace, unity, and gratitude.

Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal conveyed her wishes stating, "Eid Mubarak! Sending blessings this Eid al-Fitr and wishing joy, justice, and peace to all who celebrate."

Michigan State Representative Shri Thanedar (MI-13)extended greetings to his constituents, tweeting, "Wishing everyone in Michigan and around the world a blessed and joyful Eid! May this special occasion bring peace, prosperity, and happiness to all. Eid Mubarak!"
 



Congressman Ro Khanna (CA-17) acknowledged the spirit of community and compassion associated with the festival, saying, "Wishing the warmest greetings to all those celebrating Eid al-Fitr in my district and around the world as the holy month of Ramadan comes to an end. May the spirit of community and compassion continue throughout the year."



Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (IL-08) shared similar sentiments, stating, "As the holy season of Ramadan comes to an end, I want to wish everyone who celebrated a joyful Eid al-Fitr. Eid Mubarak!"



Representative from Virgnia, Suhas Subramanyam (D-VA) expressed gratitude for the community’s hospitality, sharing, "Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate, thank you to @ADAMSCenter_ and others who invited me to visit your prayers and celebrations." His message was accompanied by images from the ADAMS Center, a prominent Islamic community center in Virginia.



Senator Gazala Hashmi from Virginia’s 15th Senatorial District expressed the significance of the festival, writing, ”As Muslims gather today and tomorrow to celebrate the conclusion of a month of fasting, extended prayers, self-reflection, and charitable efforts, I wish everyone a peaceful holiday with family and good friends.”



New York State Assemblywoman Jennifer Rajkumar highlighted the contributions of the Muslim community, writing, "Eid Mubarak to all who celebrate! Wishing you joy, love, and peace this Eid al-Fitr. May the magic of Eid bring magic to your life. I thank the entire Muslim community for their acts of kindness this Ramadan, and their contributions to the State of New York."
