Patel Brothers faces calls to boycott Pakistani products after Kashmir terror attack
The mainly Indian grocery store also sells products from different South Asian countries.

Patel Brothers, a prominent South Asian grocery chain in the United States, is facing calls from sections of the Indian-American community to stop selling Pakistani products following a terror attack in Kashmir that claimed 26 lives.
The attack, which took place earlier this week, is being described as the deadliest in the region in over 25 years. The Resistance Front (TRF), a group believed to be affiliated with the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the incident.
We give Patel Brothers grocery stores 48 hours to remove Shan masala and other Pakistani Muslim products from your shelves or face a big boycott.

In the aftermath, social media users and community groups began urging a boycott of Pakistani products, tagging Patel Brothers and other South Asian retailers in online campaigns.
Patel Brothers, which operates more than 50 stores across the U.S., has not yet issued a public statement in response to the calls.
Patel Brothers was founded in 1974 and has since become one of the largest Indian and South Asian grocery chains in the United States, offering products from across the subcontinent, including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
