Rep. Krishnamoorthi to speak on US-India relations at SeattleU

The Roundglass India Center at Seattle University has announced a ‘Lunch and Learn’ event on U.S.-India relations led by Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi from Illinois' 8th Congressional District.

The event, which is scheduled to take place on April 4  at the Sinegal Center for Science and Innovation, will focus on major areas of trade, security, technology, and diplomacy between the two countries. It aims to foster dialogue on one of the most critical global partnerships, highlighting both challenges and opportunities in the evolving geopolitical landscape.

As a member of the Congressional Caucus on India and Indian Americans and the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Krishnamoorthi’s talk shed light on the bilateral partnership's strategic importance as well as possible future areas for collaboration.

“Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the strategic significance of the U.S.-India relationship, the challenges it faces, and the potential for future collaboration between two of the world's largest democracies,” the Roundglass India Center said.

The event, co-sponsored by the Asian and Asian American Studies Program, the Department of Political Science, and Indian American Community Services, will follow the Chatham House Rule, ensuring open discussion while maintaining confidentiality.
