Simply Sports, a community-driven organization based in Aurora, Illinois recently organized the Welcome Spring Pickleball Tournament 2025.
Held from April 12 and 19 in Aurora, the event aimed to demonstrate the unifying power of sports in bridging social and cultural divides. It brought together 50 players from diverse backgrounds, creating an inclusive atmosphere.

Aurora Mayor-Elect John Leach attended the final day of the tournament to present trophies to the winners. In a brief address, he acknowledged the organization’s efforts in promoting inclusivity and encouraging community participation through sports.
Simply Sports regularly conducts sports events including badminton, tennis, volleyball, and cricket to promote inclusion and foster community spirit.
Upcoming events include a Badminton Tournament scheduled for April 26 and May 3, and a Tennis Tournament planned for June 8 and 14. These initiatives are part of Simply Sports' ongoing calendar to support accessible and community-centered sports programming.
