'Superboys of Malegaon’, an uplifting and critically acclaimed film, can now be streamed at home on Amazon Prime Video.
Directed by Reema Kagti, the film won Best Film at the National Indian Film Festival of Australia last month. Superboys of Malegaon, which drew inspiration from the 2008 documentary ‘Supermen of Malegaon’, is based on the journey of Nasir Shaikh and a group of passionate amateur filmmakers from a small town in Maharashtra.
Residents of Malegaon turn to Bollywood cinema for a much-needed escape from their daily drudgery. Nasir, the main character, gets inspired to make a film for the people of his small town – for the people of Malegaon and by the people of Malegaon Together with his group of friends, he attempts to bring this vision to life, bringing a fresh lease of life into the town.
Superboys of Malegaon, starring Adarsh Gourav, Shashank Arora, Vineet Singh Kumar, Anuj Singh Duhan, and Muskkaan Jaferi, is a poignant yet uplifting take on filmmaking and friendship. It gives a peek at what happens when these two worlds collide.

After a successful theatrical release, Superboys of Malegaon can now be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
