Civil rights group ‘Stop AAPI Hate’ has condemned what it calls a “racist, xenophobic witch hunt” targeting immigrant students under the Trump administration’s "Catch and Revoke" operation. Their statement comes in response to a growing number of reports alleging that international students are being stalked, detained, and deported by US immigration officials, with over 300 visas revoked in recent weeks.

“Yunseo Chung, Ranjani Srinivasan, Badar Khan Suri, and far too many other immigrant students are being stalked, abducted, or forced to flee the country due to Trump’s racist, xenophobic witch hunt,” the organization said in a statement.
