Children of asylum seekers are afraid to go to school. Terror of ICE picking them up at the school site and exposing their undocumented parents has caused families to go underground.

Viridiana Tule Carrizales, managing director of DACA Corps Member Support at Teach, has been training educators and providing information to students and their families on what to do when ICE comes to school.

Educators and parents can collaborate to mitigate students' and their parents' fears and create safe havens at schools.
