The Indian community in the UAE is getting ready to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Abu Dhabi with a "cultural extravaganza" that will showcase the strong unity and friendship between India and the UAE.
The event called “Ahlan Modi” is scheduled to take place on February 13 at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The Prime Minister will be in the UAE to inaugurate the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi on February 14.

Recognized as an influential congregation for PM Modi on an international scale, the event will pay tribute to the Indian philosophy of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," emphasizing global brotherhood. It aims to reaffirm the diverse cultural heritage and inclusivity that define the Indian diaspora.
Among the event's highlights are an exhibition of 700 cultural artists showcasing the vast diversity of Indian arts, participation by over 150 Indian community groups, and the presence of thousands of blue-collar workers from various emirates.
Commenting on the significance of the event PNC Menon, founder and chairman of Sobha Realty, said, “Ahlan Modi is not just an event, it is a celebration of unity in diversity, resonating across borders. It is an honor to welcome Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, at such an event that highlights the rich cultural heritage of India and wish for the success of this memorable occasion, etching itself into the history of Indo-UAE friendship.”
As preparations for the event are underway, the organizing committee, having received registrations from over 60,000 individuals, is currently involved in coordination with the authorities in Abu Dhabi.

Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in the UAE, said that the world awaits the inauguration of the historic temple with magnificent visuals and spellbinding architecture.
"The world awaits the inauguration of the Abu Dhabi Mandir by PM Narendra Modi. Visuals resplendent with its spellbinding architecture show the Temple in all its grandeur," the Embassy said.
Modi’s upcoming visit to the UAE will be his seventh since 2014. During the visit, he will also address the World Government Summit (WGS) in Dubai as the “guest of honour” on February 14. The summit brings together world leaders, policymakers, experts, and thought leaders from various fields to discuss and address pressing global issues.
