1. Alia Bhatt wanted to be an actress from a very young age. Her first audition was for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black, though she didn’t bag the role but it was Gangubai Kathiawadi with Bhansali that gave her, her first National Award.

3. Here’s a fun fact, Alia was born an aunt to actor Shiv Darshan. Mahesh Bhatt’s elder sister Sheila married filmmaker Darshan Sabharwal and her son – Dharmesh Darshan fathered actor Shiv Darshan who is six years older than his aunt Alia.

She would love to read, but she cannot keep her eyes open long enough to finish a whole chapter. She is not really a party animal, but if she ever agrees to go to a party, she always tries to push her Spotify playlist forward – why dance on a song you don’t enjoy?
