Medical camps were held in Santa Rosa Lima on Apr.26, and Santa Cruz Naranjo on Apr.27, jointly organized by the Embassy of India in Guatemala, the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin Charitable Foundation (AAPI-CF), COOITZA, Krishpar Healthcare SA, the Santa Cruz Naranjo Health Center and Municipalities of Santa Cruz Naranjo and Santa Rosa Lima.
The aim behind organizing these health camps was to serve the local communities and to provide them with specialized and complementary medical services, including consultations, diagnoses, and treatments across a range of specialties such as Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Gynecology, and Dermatology.
Around 1050 patients visited the camps held at both locations and got access to free medical consultations from these specialists.
The AAPI-CF also signed an MoU with COOITZA in Santa Roza Lima to organize similar health camps in the future.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Dr Manoj Kumar Mohapatra extended his gratitude to all the stakeholders and emphasized India's unwavering commitment to healthcare support in Guatemala.
