Jain spiritual leader and peace ambassador, Acharya Lokesh Muni, who was in America as part of his 'Peace and Harmony tour' has announced plans to establish a World Peace Centre in New Jersey, United States.
This centre will be the second of its kind, following the one in New Delhi that is scheduled to be inaugurated later this year. The centre, established by Acharya Muni's Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti organization, aims to promote global harmony and resolve conflicts through peace education and training.
"The main objective of this peace journey is the establishment of the World Peace Centre in America, which will play a crucial role in resolving conflicts anywhere in the world," he told New India Abroad. He explained the need for such a centre by pointing out the ongoing conflicts worldwide, such as the war between Ukraine and Russia and the conflict in Israel and Palestine.
