Acharya Lokesh, the founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharti and World Peace Center, was awarded the ‘Global Jain Peace Ambassador’ award during an event at the Jain pilgrim center, Navagraha Teerth Kshetra, Varur, in Karnataka.
The spiritual leader was presented the award by Indian External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar in the presence of Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MLA MR Patil, and other dignitaries, who were also present at the event.
Upon receiving the award, Acharya Lokesh emphasized the importance of spiritual values and religious principles in the contemporary world. Moreover, he expressed his gratitude to the Minister of External Affairs and founder of Navgraha Tirtha, Acharya Gunadharnandi.
Jaishankar commended Acharya Lokesh for his tireless efforts in education, health, and world peace. The Ministe also shared his vision of India becoming the world’s leading nation.
Following that, Jaishankar also laid the foundations for AGM Rural College, AGM Ayurvedic Medical College and Padmavati Mata Shaktipeeth in Karnataka.
