AgileThought, a leading provider of digital transformation and AI services, has appointed Hari Haran as its chief executive officer (CEO) in a strategic move aimed at accelerating client value creation and driving growth initiatives.
Haran brings a wealth of experience in digital transformation services, IT products, and software engineering, having most recently served as executive vice president of Digital Services at Denali Advanced Integration. At Denali, Haran played a pivotal role in advancing the growth of the digital services division.
Prior to Denali, he held senior leadership positions at Xoriant, including president and chief revenue officer, where he spearheaded profitable growth strategies and led digital engineering endeavors. During a career spanning over three decades, Haran has gained extensive international experience, having lived and worked in Latin America, Europe, and the USA, making him suitable to strengthen AgileThought's global market presence, the firm said.
Commenting on his appointment, Haran expressed eagerness to leverage advanced digital tools and AI to optimize operational processes and elevate customer experiences. He emphasized AgileThought's commitment to client-centric solutions and its innovative capabilities.

Sumeet Gupta, who served as interim CEO since January 2024, will transition to the role of chairman of the Board, continuing to support AgileThought's strategic initiatives, the firm said in a statement.

Hari Haran holds a B.Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, an MBA from the University of Louisiana, and an MS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has also completed the Management Program at Wharton.
