Alchemer names Ramesh Kandukuri as CTO

He will drive Alchemer’s technology strategy, modernize platforms, and enhance customer experience solutions with AI.

Louisville-based customer feedback management company Alchemer has appointed Indian-origin tech leader Ramesh Kandukuri as its new chief technology officer (CTO). 

Kandukuri, who has more than 25 years of experience in technology, brings expertise in modernizing infrastructure and leading engineering teams with a customer-centric approach.

He most recently served as CTO of InvoiceCloud, where he scaled engineering operations, supported revenue growth, and oversaw AI and machine learning adoption.

He also served as Enterprise CTO at EngageSmart. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at Progressive Leasing, Quicken Loans, and Billhighway, overseeing software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML adoption. 

“With deep expertise in SaaS software and customer-facing applications, Ramesh is the ideal leader to accelerate Alchemer’s technology strategy to bring thoughtful innovation to our customers,” said Martin Mrugal, CEO of Alchemer. “He is the right person to expand on Alchemer’s robust survey and customer experience (CX) products and guide us forward in the era of AI and rapid development.”

Kandukuri said he is eager to work alongside Alchemer’s team to drive innovation, stating, “My passion is focused on empowering teams, modernizing platforms, and aligning technology with business outcomes, and this role allows me to work alongside talented people with similar passions.” 

He holds a master’s degree in information systems from Eastern Michigan University and a bachelor’s in chemical engineering from NIT Warangal, India.
