Ambitio, an AI-powered admissions platform aimed at helping Indian students gain entry into top international universities, has raised $2 million in seed funding. The round was led by BLinC Invest, with participation from Ritu Bapna (Co-founder, Impetus), soonicorn founders, and angel investors from the UK and India.

Founded by IIT-BHU graduates Dirghayu Kaushik and Vikrant Shivalik, Ambitio leverages artificial intelligence and data from over 10 million data points to provide personalized admissions strategies and guidance. The platform aims to differentiate itself from traditional consultants by prioritizing a student-first approach, eschewing university partnerships and focusing on transparent, merit-based admissions.
