The Ritesh Shah Charitable Pharmacy (RSCP) is organizing its annual Gala event, scheduled for Apr. 27 in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Founded by Ritesh Shah in memory of his late sister Rena Shah, who passed away at 43, the pharmacy was established on Apr. 15, 2022 and is committed to honoring Rena's legacy by catering to the uninsured and underserved in New Jersey.
According to the organisation, RSCP is dedicated to increasing access to medications, immunizations, and healthcare services to mitigate health disparities in the community. Notably, the pharmacy has already dispensed medications worth US$400,000 to uninsured and underserved residents in the state.
The upcoming Gala event aims to garner support for RSCP's mission of providing essential healthcare services to those in need.
The event will feature an evening of Gujarati music and literature, titled "Gamtilu Gujarat," by renowned poet, writer, director, and producer Ankit Trivedi and his team of singers and musicians. This event represents another milestone in RSCP's journey.
"Your support will raise funds to provide more services to reduce health disparities in our community and state," said the official press release.
