Asha Bhosle set to perform in Dubai

Veteran Indian playback singer Asha Bhosle will be performing live at Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena on September 8, 2023. As the date also marks her 90th birthday, several renowned celebrities are expected to show up as a mark of respect to the songstress.
The live show is being organized by PME Entertainment and the singer’s son Anand Bhosle to celebrate Bhosle’s 75 years in the Bollywood music industry. She made her debut at the age of 15 in the movie Chunaria with the song Saawan Aaya Re.
Bhosle was among the handful of Indian singers to have lent her voice to Bollywood as well as released equally successful albums. Some of her songs dating back to the late 60s like Parde Me Rehne Do, and Dil Cheez Kya Hai continue to be evergreen. Songs like Tanha Tanha, Yeh Hai Reshmi Zulfon Ka Andhera, Nahin Nahin Abhi Nahin, and Khatouba are still remixed and played at clubs.
The set list for the event will include chart-busting hits from her successful career. Her performance will be supported by an array of dance troupes and choreographers. Other musicians and singers are also expected to be a part of the event.
