ATN secures Canadian distribution rights for Sony LIV

Pricing is set at USD 7.49 per month or USD 37.49 annually for a la carte subscriptions.

Asian Television Network International Limited (ATN), Canada's largest South Asian broadcaster, has announced its acquisition of the distribution rights for Sony LIV, a leading Indian OTT streaming platform. This agreement is poised to bring an extensive range of Indian content to ATN's subscribers across Canada.

" Our goal is to provide our audience with engaging, high-quality content that they can enjoy anytime, anywhere and we are looking forward to aggressively launching and streaming Sony LIV Nationwide."

Sony LIV's content library includes a variety of acclaimed series and films, such as "Gullak," a series of heartwarming stories set in a small Indian town, and "Maharani," a political drama featuring Huma Qureshi. Other notable titles include "Scam 1992," a gripping series about stockbroker Harshad Mehta, and "Rocket Boys," a historical drama about the pioneers of India’s space program.

Canadian subscribers will have access to Sony LIV through TELUS and can enjoy special bundle rates with ATN Sony Linear Entertainment Channels. Pricing is set at USD 7.49 per month or  USD 37.49 annually for a la carte subscriptions.

Sony LIV, owned by Sony Pictures Networks India, was launched in 2013 as India's first OTT service. The platform hosts a diverse selection of content, including Bollywood movies, television dramas, reality shows, comedies, and original programming exclusive to Sony LIV.
