Swami Brahmaviharidas offered prayers and a garland to the Prime Minister before apprising him for the continuing development of the traditional stone temple in Abu Dhabi. He also conveyed the support extended by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi, for the project.
The BAPS temple is the first traditional Hindu temple in the UAE capital, regarded as a symbol of interfaith harmony and India–UAE cultural ties.
The meeting further covered updates on several upcoming international BAPS Mandirs and cultural centres currently under development in Bahrain, Paris, Dar es Salaam, Johannesburg, Melbourne, and Sydney. All of these projects are being guided by BAPS leader Mahant Swami Maharaj and are intended to serve as spiritual and cultural hubs for the Indian diaspora and global community.
The discussions also touched on broader themes such as the importance of universal values, moral upliftment, national unity, and spiritual harmony, BAPS said in a statement
