Indian-American expert in public health statistics and data science, Bhramar Mukherjee, has been appointed the Anna M.R. Lauder Professor of Biostatistics at the Yale School of Public Health (YSPH), the university announced.

The 10-year appointment, renewable by the YSPH dean, marks a significant milestone in Mukherjee’s career, as she takes on a key role in shaping efforts to develop strategic initiatives in public health data science and equity, aiming to advance research and education  at the Ivy League institution.
