British Royal Society Of Arts names Smriti Kirubanandan as fellow

Britain’s Royal Society of Arts (RSA) has appointed Indian American business executive Smriti Kirubanandan as a fellow jn recognition of her social imoact in the United States.

The RSA, founded in 1754, is renowned for recognizing individuals who have made outstanding contributions to social progress and development. The fellowship is awarded to those whose work has a remarkable social impact.

In addition to her role as a growth and partnerships executive with a background in robotics and public health, Kirubanandan has served communities as a raw vegan chef and nutritionist, actively working towards eliminating food insecurity.

She founded the HLTH Forward Podcast, a platform bringing together healthcare leaders, policymakers, and artists to collaboratively address challenges within the healthcare system and strategize for its advancement.

Kirubanandan was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader for 2023. She is also an integral member of the Young Leaders Circle at the Milken Institute.

Expressing gratitude upon receiving the fellowship, Kirubanandan emphasized the need for change-makers. “I am humbled and grateful to be a part of this historic organization that has convened and orchestrated some of the most notable people of our times.”

“ I am eager to learn, contribute, and expand our horizons collectively.“It is more crucial now than ever. We need to be creating and nurturing change-makers,” Kirubanandan added.

The RSA Fellowship has over 30,000 achievers and influencers from diverse backgrounds. At 36, Kirubanandan joined the ranks of other RSA fellows, including Adam Smith, Charles Dickens, Benjamin Franklin, and Marie Curie.
