Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. announced on Dec.16 the appointment of Ashima Ghei as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO), effective immediately.

Ghei had served as Broadridge’s Interim CFO since Jul.1, 2024, and has played a key role in advancing the company’s financial strategy during the first half of fiscal year 2025.

Broadridge Financial Solutions, headquartered in New York, is a global technology leader specializing in services that help the financial services industry innovate and grow. The company powers investing, governance, and communications, driving operational resiliency and transforming investor experiences.

Tim Gokey, chief executive officer of Broadridge, expressed confidence in Ghei’s leadership. “I have had the pleasure of working with Ashima over the past two years and even more closely this past six months, during which time she has been a key partner to me and the rest of the leadership team as we execute on our long-term growth plan," Gokey said.

"She is a strategic leader with a proven track record of delivering results, and I am confident that with Ashima as CFO, Broadridge will continue to provide trusted and transformative solutions to our clients and deliver strong returns to our shareholders," he added.

Ghei joined Broadridge in January 2022 as CFO of Broadridge’s Investor Communications business ("ICS"). In this role, she led initiatives in investment optimization, product profitability, pricing, contract negotiation, and planning and analytics. She was also instrumental in driving profitable growth within Broadridge's Governance business, which benefited from both organic initiatives and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining Broadridge, Ghei had an 18-year career at American Express, where she last served as the head of Merchant Pricing for the Americas.

"I am thrilled to help lead Broadridge through our next phase of growth and deliver on our strategic and financial goals," said Ghei. "Broadridge is well positioned to help our clients drive innovation and deliver shareholder value through steady and sustainable revenue and earnings growth, disciplined investment, and strong financial management."

Ghei holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
