The event successfully brought together over 2,500 attendees from over 70 countries, fostering connections and advancing the common goals of cultural preservation and socio-economic progress for the Tamil diaspora.

The event, inaugurated on Jan. 11 by Tamil Nadu's Deputy Chief Minister, Udhayanidhi Stalin, saw the presence of various ministers, MPs, MLAs, and other distinguished guests. In his address, he reflected on the historical migration of Tamil Nadu's people for purposes such as education, trade, warfare, and occupation.

He highlighted their successful integration into diverse societies, emphasizing the remarkable adaptability of Tamils in the global community. Furthermore, he elaborated on the Tamil Nadu government's ongoing commitment to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Medicine, which has not only contributed to global progress but also reinforced the Tamil identity worldwide.

The event also featured over 200 stalls, showcasing Tamil achievements in various fields such as technology, agriculture, and culture. Discussions were held across seven sessions on topics like Tamil education, economic growth, Fintech, EV technology, and government welfare initiatives for Tamils. Cultural performances, including music, dance, and theatre, added to the celebrations.

On the second day, additional sessions were held, focusing on Tamil economic growth, education, and Tamil culture. A reverse buyer-seller meet was organized, resulting in 43 MoUs worth over $8.4 million (Rs 70 crore).
