Cadre Technologies Services has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Bombay's Techfest, one of India's largest technology festivals, slated for Dec.16-17, 2024. This partnership is set to promote innovation and nurture talent in fields such as artificial intelligence, accessibility technology, and more.
“It’s a full-circle moment for me, bringing back my experience and knowledge to contribute to India’s growing tech landscape,” said Muneer Khan, founder and ceo of Cadre Technologies Services.
The MoU, signed on Oct.11, 2024, in Mumbai, focuses on mutual branding and promotional activities, including the use of logos and advertisements.
The agreement outlines several branding deliverables for Cadre Technologies during Techfest:
In return, Cadre Technologies will provide a sponsorship grant of USD$1546.41 to IIT Bombay. The funds will be processed within 30 days after receiving the invoice.
Muneer Khan, who founded Cadre Technologies after completing his Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York, shared his personal connection to this venture. “Growing up in a remote village, I always dreamed of pursuing higher education and creating something impactful,” he said. His startup focuses on developing AI-enabled glasses for visually impaired individuals, which reflects his vision for using technology to solve real-world problems.
Looking ahead, Khan is eager to make a lasting contribution to India’s technological landscape. “Moving forward, my goal is to create a strong impact on Indian society, and I believe that nurturing young minds and fostering innovation are key to achieving that. I’m excited about the road ahead and look forward to collaborating with brilliant minds in Mumbai and beyond,” he added.
