In a strategic move aimed at fortifying its technological prowess, Choice Hotels International, an American multinational hospitality company based in North Bethesda, Maryland has promoted Sireesha Kunduri to the position of chief of product engineering.
“This decision underscores hotels’ commitment to driving innovation and delivering enhanced value to its extensive network of hotel owners and patrons,” a statement by the company noted.
With a tenure spanning over eight years at Choice Hotels, Kunduri’s ascent to this pivotal role marks a significant milestone in her career trajectory, it highlighted.
Having joined the company in 2016 as director of engineering, Kunduri swiftly ascended the ranks, assuming the role of vice president of engineering in 2019. In the new role, she will spearhead the software product delivery operations within Choice’s technology team, extending invaluable support to the diverse array of hotel brands under the Choice umbrella.
Her purview will encompass pivotal areas such as revenue management, membership rewards programs, and various other facets crucial to optimizing the guest experience.
Commenting on Kunduri’s promotion, Brian Kirkland, chief information officer at Choice Hotels, expressed utmost confidence in her ability to drive technological innovation and propel the company to greater heights.
