The Chopra Foundation, established by Indian American author Deepak Chopra, is set to host its annual Sages & Scientists Symposium on Sept 14-15, 2024, at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The event, which aims to bridge ancient wisdom and modern science, will bring together leading figures from various fields to address critical global issues related to well-being, humanity, and the universe.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Chopra said, “ In a rapidly changing world, it is more important than ever to bridge the gap between these two realms to create a more harmonious and sustainable future.”

Keynote speakers include entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, neuroscientist Rudolph Tanzi, and astronaut Anousheh Ansari. They will delve into topics such as quantum consciousness, longevity, artificial intelligence, and ethical implications of emerging technologies.

Sessions will cover various subjects, such as mental health therapies, precision medicine, and brain-computer interfaces. Additionally, the symposium will spotlight Africa's growing role in global innovation, focusing on technology, sustainable development, and unique solutions to global challenges.

Poonacha Machaiah, CEO of The Chopra Foundation, described the symposium as a platform for transformation. " By uniting diverse brilliance with a shared purpose, we're not just discussing the future—we're actively shaping it. This symposium embodies our commitment to fostering a world where innovation meets compassion, and where the wisdom of ages converges with cutting-edge science and technology to address our most pressing global challenges.”

The event is open to scientists, entrepreneurs, educators, and spiritual seekers interested in expanding their horizons and contributing to a more interconnected world.

The Chopra Foundation plans to expand the symposium globally, with the European edition to be held in Mallorca, Spain, focusing on integrating modern technology with awareness and responsible tourism.
