Donald Trump calls Nikki Haley ‘birdbrain’ in scathing attack

Trump called Haley a liar for continuing to contend for the GOP nomination in the presidential primary despite claiming that she would not run against him back in 2021.

Former President Donald Trump who is the frontrunner in the Republican party for the upcoming presidential election, in the majority of the polls, has ripped into his GOP opponent Nikki Haley whom he termed ‘birdbrain’ in a recent social media post.

The Indian American candidate is considered a close second after Trump, in a recent New Hampshire poll while a CNN poll from earlier this month also found her to be the only candidate with the potential to beat reigning President Joe Biden in the elections.

After Haley’s recent participation in the second presidential debate in Ohio, Trump launched a scathing attack, on her in a series of posts on Truth Social, a platform that he owns.

As Haley had previously publically announced that she would never contest an election against Trump, he accused her of lying. “MAGA, or I, will never go for Birdbrain Nikki Haley. No loyalty, plenty of lies!” he wrote.

Recalling her praise for him, he further said, “I responded, ‘How nice of you to say, Nikki,’ knowing full well that her words mean nothing. She even came to Mar-a-Lago with her family, ‘bearing gifts.’ Anyway, Birdbrain doesn’t have the TALENT or TEMPERAMENT to do the job. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Haley shared a screenshot of Trump’s post about her on X, formerly Twitter, saying, “Love this. It means we are in 2nd and moving up fast. Bring it!”
