Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has grossed over US$ 40 million (340 crore) in nine days since its worldwide release on December 21, 2023. The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani is presented by Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
As per Pinkvilla report, the film bagged the fourth largest opening of the year in Bollywood, after Pathaan, Jawan and Ranbir Kapoor's Animal. Sharing the success of the film, Red Chillies Entertainment announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, "This is your love... working its magic at the Box Office! Thank you for showering endless love over Dunki."

The film features actors Shah Rukh Khan (as Hardayal "Hardy" Singh Dhillon), Taapsee Pannu (as Manu Randhawa), Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar and Anil Grover.
Based on illegal immigration technique called donkey flight, the film narrates the story of four friends Manu, Sukhi, Buggu and Balli who desire to settle in London for a better life, and undergo a life changing journey.
The film marks Khan's final and third release of the year. The actor was last seen in Atlee's Jawan, featuring in dual role as captain Vikram Rathore and Azad, Vikram's son and prior to that in Pathaan.
