Pop sensation Ed Sheeran, who is in Mumbai for the last leg of his +–=÷× tour, recently paid a surprise visit to a primary school in the city where he performed for the children.
The artist posted a video of the experience on his Instagram page in which he is seen performing his hit song ‘Shape of You’ for the students. “Visited a school in Mumbai this morning and swapped performances with the kids, so much fun. Great being back in India too!” the caption read.
“Oh man I loved it. So, so much fun,” he said when asked how it felt to visit the school and interact with the kids. Sheeran was seen sitting among the kids, shaking their hands, and cheering for the performers.
The British singer-songwriter was previously in the country in 2017 where he played a show at the Jio Gardens BKC. The March 16 concert will take place at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Race Course.
The performer lineup also features Prateek Kuhad and Calum Scott.
Tickets for the event are priced between US $160 (INR 13,323) and US $367 (INR 30,453) on the affiliate site Viagogo.
