The on-going Lok Sabha elections could see the return of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a historic third term, an eminent India-expert has said, while another academician believes that after 10 years of his rule, New Delhi is beginning to fulfill its ambition to playing a role at the global stage.
“By all accounts, it's likely to set new records even by India's long and established history of setting records where elections go. The elections promises to see the largest number of votes ever cast, and it could also see Prime Minister Modi return to power for a historic third term,” Ashley J. Tellis, the Tata Chair for Strategic Affairs and a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment said at an event on “India in Modi’s Third Term” organized by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a top US think-tank.

Modi was the PM at the right time. COVID Ukraine War Israel War NATO-US near dominance of world Just look at the pace of change in infrastructure; both civilian and military, economic growth along with smart social policies; eradication of bureaucracy and corruption in social programs. Indian would be foolish to not hand him a 51% vote mandate. In contrast, Congress is run by a foreign puppeteer that is trying to place a man with a mental capacity of a 8 year old that runs around the world criticizing India. The boy forgets that many like me heard the word "India" after I was 10 years I think. We grew up with the country being called Bharat and Hindustan. From the chants of Jia Hind and Bharat Mata ki Jai. If Congress wins, "corruption" will rise and "scandals" will be back. So far opposition has tried to rack up scandals and none have stuck. The international leaders have realized that Modi is incorruptible and have even labeled him NATIONALIST. What Indian would not like their PM to be NATIONALIST except foreigners and their loyalists who will entertain the Pope but not its own religious leaders in a country of SAGES and Hindu Saints.
