Aabaha Theatre Group performed at Colure 2024, the popular festival hosted by Chicago Natyo Goshthi (CNG), a nonprofit theater group in Chicago. They staged an adaptation of Anthony Shaffer’s Sleuth, titled The Game.

Set against the backdrop of a lavish yet eerie mansion, The Game invites viewers into a battle of wits between a crime writer and his wife’s lover. What begins as an innocent encounter quickly spirals into a suspenseful contest of manipulation, with layers of deceit and tension building to an unforgettable climax.

The production’s success owed much to Kallol Nandi and Shubhagato Bhattacharjee’s intense performances. Pranjal Karmakar’s minimalist set, combined with striking lighting and sound, deepened the drama’s tension. The open-ended conclusion sparked lively audience discussions.
