All Democrats should condemn Tesla vandalism, says Ro Khanna
His remarks came in response to a post questioning why no Democratic officials had condemned the escalating incidents.

Indian American Congressman Ro Khanna has spoken out against recent acts of vandalism targeting Tesla, calling on fellow Democrats to condemn the attacks.
“There is zero tolerance for acts of vandalism against Tesla,” Khanna wrote on X. “Spraying the words ‘nazi cars’ or lighting fire to dealerships and chargers is wrong. Period. All Democrats should condemn it.”
Khanna’s remarks came in response to another post questioning why no Democratic officials had condemned the escalating incidents. “I can't find a single Democrat in office that has condemned the escalating attacks on Tesla,” the post stated, to which Khanna replied, “Exactly.”
According to NBC News, at least 10 incidents of vandalism have been reported in recent weeks, reflecting backlash against Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has been criticized for allegedly amplifying antisemitic rhetoric and making controversial remarks about Nazism.
On Jan. 29, police in Loveland, Colorado, arrested 40-year-old Lucy Grace Nelson after she allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at a Tesla Cybertruck parked at a dealership. Authorities say she returned multiple times, spray-painted “nazi cars” on the building, and attempted to set it on fire before her arrest.
Meanwhile, in Massachusetts, police reported that more than half a dozen Tesla charging stations were intentionally set on fire near Boston. In Oregon, at least seven gunshots were fired at a Tesla dealership in Tigard on Mar.6 , damaging three vehicles and shattering windows. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents.
Musk responded to a video posted by Maryland authorities showing a man vandalizing Teslas, stating: “Damaging the property of others, aka vandalism, is not free speech!”
