America responsible for Global Conflict
Dear editor,
Many people who follow American government’s propaganda machine and biased western media believe that conflicts in middle-east and far-east are caused by Russia, Korea & Iran; whom they call “axes of evil”. They also call Hamas, Hezbollah & Houthis as terrorist organizations – even though they are militants operating covertly because they don’t have fighter planes and ICBMs. These organizations are supported by their governments which cannot afford to wage wars directly with Israel since after 1968 war Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria & Jordan have lost their military power.
If America stops giving Israel modern weaponry, which has killed more than 40,000 Palestinians and 5000 Lebanese and made millions of innocent people homeless, the war in Gaza and Lebanon will stop automatically. Also if America forces Israel to stop apartheid rule and agree to a separate Palestine State, peace will come in the Middle-east and Iran and Yemenis will stop supporting militants. As long as Israel continues its policy of annihilation of Hamas and Hezbollah, Iran & Russia will keep giving weapons to these organizations.
Similarly, America should soften its stance against North Korea, stop arming South Korea and support unification like two Germanys and two Vietnams had united in the past.
America and western countries should stop pouring in billions of dollars’ worth of weapons to Ukraine and call for immediate unconditional ceasefire and diplomatic solution; otherwise the war will continue for many years which will destroy economy of Ukraine and weaken economies of many western countries.
Finally, America should stop inciting Taiwan by giving them modern weaponry and let it become part of China so that they can live in peace like brothers.
As long as America keeps the wars going on for its own economic, political and military benefits, North Korea & Iran will continue helping the adversaries; these conflicts will never end because United Nations will be helpless in view of America’s veto power. If America wants Iran & N. Korea to stop building nuclear bombs, it should force Israel to give up its stockpile of nuclear bombs.
It takes a combined effort of all nations involved and America’s genuine effort to end the conflicts. Otherwise the slogan “peace of earth and welfare to mankind” has no meaning.
