Ananth Raman joins C5i as strategic advisor

Raman has a distinguished background in research and business consulting in supply chain management and service operations.

C5i, an AI and analytics company, has appointed Indian American economist Ananth Raman to its Strategic advisory board. 

Raman, the UPS Foundation Professor of Business Logistics at Harvard Business School, will provide strategic guidance on enhancing C5i's business strategy, IP development, and go-to-market positioning for its AI solutions in supply chain, customer analytics, marketing, and more.

"Dr. Raman's extensive expertise will help us build world-class AI solutions that drive significant business impact for our global clients," said Ashwin Mittal, chairman and CEO of C5i. "His insights will be crucial in expanding our reach within supply chain and operations functions across various industries, including CPG, retail, and manufacturing."

Raman has a distinguished background in research and business consulting in supply chain management and service operations. He has designed decision-support systems for multiple retailers and suppliers and advised numerous CEOs of global companies. 

His work has been featured in leading journals, and he co-directs the 'Consortium for Operational Excellence in Retailing.' Additionally, he has also founded 4R Systems, a firm focused on maximizing retail inventory profits through science and technology.
